Job Summary
Local Marine Contractor is looking for an experienced Construction Foreman to help lead our growing team of builders. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in Framing, Decking, Roofing or other basic carpentry. Marine construction experience is necessary. Barge and Pile Setting Experience also needed. Attention to detail and high-quality work is a must.
The prospective applicant would be a multi-faceted individual who can think on their feet and always be looking for problems before they arise. Punctuality is a must.
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of company-assigned crew
Lead a crew of 1-2 team members on a daily basis
Operate vehicle and equipment in a safe manner
Be responsible for vehicle/tools maintenance and care
Follow all company's procedures and protocols
Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
Requirements/Qualifications
Marine Construction
Knowledge of boat handling/safety skills
Carpentry Skills (General Construction)
Clean Driving Record, Own Transportation
