Caregiver - Private - Part-time

Currently hiring for part-time positions, 2 - 3 shifts per week, for a caregiver experienced with working with a quadriplegic. Position is for night shifts only, 12-14 hour, typically 9pm-9am. $15/hour private pay. Must live within the Ormond Beach and surrounding vicinity. This is not a live-in position. Client is an independent 40-year-old male, very active and drives his own vehicle. He is paralyzed chest down and is not bedbound. Care required; transferring with Hoyer, bowel care, assist with shower and getting dressed/undressed. Client is in a power wheelchair, has an electric Hoyer, a shower chair and roll-in shower. Meal preparation. Light housekeeping duties. References required. MUST LIKE DOGS! Applicant may be subject to a Background check. Must be over the age 25. No smoking in the home or while on shift. NO Illegal DRUGS or ALCOHOL allowed on premises. The client holds a medical Marijuana card. MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT, INCLUDING NO BACK OR LIFTING RESTRICTIONS. Must have a valid FL driver’s license and your own reliable transportation. Applicant must be flexible to come in a little early or stay later without notice.
