Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean, organized, and well-maintained to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Room Cleaning and Maintenance:
o Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including changing lines, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
o Inspect and report any damage or maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
Public Area Upkeep:
o Maintain cleanliness of hotel public areas, including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other shared spaces.
Laundry Duties:
o Collect, wash, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and other laundry items as needed.
Inventory and Supplies:
o Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and room amenities.
o Monitor and report inventory levels to ensure availability of necessary supplies.
Guest Interaction:
o Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
o Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns or special requirements.
Health and Safety Compliance:
o Adhere to hotel safety standards and guidelines.
o Use cleaning products and equipment responsibly and according to instructions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience, especially in a hotel or similar setting (preferred but not required).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks, lift up to [insert weight], and be on your feet for extended periods.
