- • Must have professional knowledge of current and accepted theories, principles, and practices of physical therapy treatment and procedures typically obtained through an accredited physical therapy education program. />
- • Must possess and maintain licensure. />
- • Extensive knowledge of evaluation procedures is required to perform, administer, and monitor the effectiveness of modalities and intervention strategies utilized in physical therapy. />

- • Reducing the need for medications and providing alternatives to surgery />
- • Enter notes in the medical documentation system for physician's review. />

- • Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques. />
- • Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients? specific needs. />

- • Have a PTA working under the PT Services. />
- • Performs administrative duties related to the provision of PT care including scheduling patients, preparing call-outs as necessary, pulling and filing medical records, and recording treatment. />
- • Overlooks inmates housekeeping and infection control procedures. />
- • Knowledgeable of and follows BOP, PT services, and institutional policies to include Employee Standards of Conduct, security, infection control, regulated waste management, and data management. />
