Full Stack Magento E-Commerce Developer

Description We are offering a contract/project opportunity for a Full Stack Magento E-Commerce Developer in Clearwater, Florida. This assignment will last up to 6 months with possible extension. This role is within the E-commerce industry and will involve the development and management of Shopify accounts, enhancing UI/UX design, and back end database development.THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE FULLY ONSITE IN CLEARWATER. Our client is not accepting remote applicants.Responsibilities: Create and manage Shopify accounts, including account setup and optimization Develop custom Shopify themes and templates based on project requirements Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and product developers, to ensure timely project delivery Manage backend databases tied to Shopify (Heroku) to improve uptime and disaster recovery Translate design mock-ups and specifications into functional Shopify websites and applications Test, develop, and customize third-party Shopify apps to extend store functionalities Update and modify existing Shopify stores to enhance UI/UX design and add new features Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify development and implementation Assist with the selection, implementation, and transition to a PIM solution integrated with Shopify Ensure UX, performance, SEO, security, and accessibility best practices are implemented and upheld.Requirements Proficient in Backend Development Experience with Content Management System (CMS) Understanding of API Development Familiarity with Shopify platform Experience working with Heroku Proficiency in PostgreSQL database management Strong knowledge of HTML Proficient in CSS Self-motivated and able to work independently Strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Able to work in a fast-paced environment Strong team player and able to collaborate effectively with others Knowledge of best practices in web development and e-commerce platforms Continually stay updated with the latest technologies and apply them as needed Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and be flexible with changes.
