Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Data Modeler Department: Veterans Affairs (VA) Type: Full Time Min. Experience: Experienced Security Clearance Level: Public Trust (MBI) Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply! Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise to produce detailed database designs and design documentation, including data models and data flow diagrams.
Evaluate and configure database products to match user requirement with system capabilities.
Determine file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for system databases.
Plan and coordinate conversion and migration of existing (or legacy) databases.

An ability to work with multiple stakeholders who may have competing priorities
