All applications/resumes should be submitted through our link.As a Pipelayer for our Civil District, you will contribute to our team by:
Doing layout, set elevations and grading.
Installing of above ground mechanical piping and supports.
Having experience in the installation of carbon steel piping and Victaulic couplings, fittings experience with Copper piping a plus.
Reading /Interpreting: contract documents, submittals, shop drawings, architectural, structural and mechanical drawings
What you will bring to the role:Must have minimum of 5 years’ experience in the pipe-fitter /mechanical tradeAble to read and understand construction drawings and specificationsAble to create a safe working environment, and understands OSHA regulationsAbility to take off and communicate tool and material requirements to the supervisorMust have experience in carbon steel, copper (soldering, brazing) and PVC installationsMust have experience setting mechanical equipment including Clarifier equipment, pumpsAbility to set up and perform piping testsMust have reliable transportation to jobsiteMust be self-motivated and have the ability to work well with othersAbility to identify potential issues during installation and elevate them to Foreman/Gen ForemanMust be able to pass a background checkMust be able to pass a drug testPCL is an innovative, safety-oriented company comprised of people who find passion in their profession and take pride in doing great work everyday.
