- Support the team in ongoing engagements with stakeholders to continue to understand and document the current data landscape and desired future state.
- Develop communications content to support adoption plans, senior leadership reports and share point site content.
- Assist facilitation of meetings, including agendas, participation, and notes/action item documentation.
- Coordinate between the various stakeholders and projects to support collaboration and identify early risks of duplicative efforts.
- Monitor and recommend areas of improvement for overall project efficiencies, especially in the areas of process and communications.
- Produce various types of supporting documentation to assist the customer and team in understanding and implementing solutions, including but not limited to workflows, process diagrams, and roadmaps.
- Content collaboration and peer review of team deliverables on an as needed basis.
- Perform other needed duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or the Social Sciences
- 2-4 years’ experience evaluating customer and project needs. Developing adoption and communication strategies to support successful implementations of new solutions (processes, policies, and new technologies)
- Experience developing content for a variety of mediums, website, blogs, executive briefs, presentations, etc.
- Able to facilitate conversations, ensuring all parties and their perspectives are heard and documented.
- Enjoy identifying and fostering opportunities for cross pollination between teams and projects. Building on synergy and maximizing efforts, which otherwise would be lost to silos.
- Experience with engaging in creative problem solving.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to engage stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and levels of seniority.
- Strong communication skills, able to provide clear and concise written and verbal materials ranging from briefing notes, recommendations, to communication and engagement materials for a variety of stakeholders.
- Able to independently organize work; prioritizing tasks; planning; meeting deadlines and completing assignments in a manner that exceeds client expectations.
- Strong collaborator, able to provide and receive constructive feedback within an agile team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft platforms including Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to obtain a public trust security clearance.
- This position will primarily work 40 hours per week Mondays – Fridays either virtually or at the office in Sterling, VA.
- The position currently requires commuting to the customer site in Washington, DC, one day, every 2 weeks. With additional sessions for collaboration based on project needs. This is subject to possible adjustment in the future, which could look like one day a week, every week.
- You will be asked to provide writing samples, which can include requirements documentation and stakeholder holder engagement plans.
