3rd shift Maintenance

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· Education: High school diploma or equivalent

· Required Work Experience: 3 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified in a plant or industrial environment.

· Considerable knowledge of the practices, tools, materials, equipment, methods and techniques of the electrical/mechanics trade

· Knowledge of the applicable occupational hazards and safety precautions

· Knowledge of electrical/mechanical theory

· Skill in the use of tools and equipment

· Ability to locate and correct defects in electrical and mechanical systems

· Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings

· Excellent oral communication skills with close attention to detail

· Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic computer skills

· Analytical thinking skills

· Ability to work in inclement weather and fluctuating temperatures, climbing ladders, scaffolding, and descending underground, as well as exposure to the hazards of working in confined spaces with high voltage electricity.

· Ability to lift 50lbs

· Reliable transportation

· Strong safety orientation

· Must be able to work second shift hours as directed by supervisor, typical start time between 10:00pm-7:00am

· Ability to work Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturdays

Lead Plant Mechanic

Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.

· Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs and adjustments. Reports required repairs or other findings to Area Manager.

· Adheres to all safety, environmental and company policies and procedures in completing daily tasks, and completes all required paperwork in a timely fashion.

· Completes work orders in a timely manner; installing, repairing and fabricating materials out of metal; ensuring availability and functioning of required items; and ensuring safety and resolving immediate safety concerns.

· Assembling pieces of metal together or repairing damage in metal components using heavy machinery that emits high heat, melting the metal into shape.

· Performs the appropriate plant equipment inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance for both fixed and mobile equipment.

· Responsible for preparing and welding steel and aluminum structures, appendages and equipment.

· Performs routine preventative maintenance on plant equipment including handling welding repairs.

· Conducts routine inspections of plant and mobile equipment and report findings to Area Manager.

· Prepares Plant reports as required and maintain an inventory of regularly used repair supplies or equipment.

· Assists personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.

· Responds to emergency situations as needed and/or assigned for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.

· Performs required emergency repairs on production equipment required to address plant breakdowns.

· Performs repairs as required on plant processing equipment and performs maintenance on plant grounds as required.

· Maintains shop, equipment, tools, vehicles, etc. for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items and ensuring safety.

· Rebuild or fabricate parts; repair electrical equipment.

Electrician Position

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

· Installing and maintaining electrical wiring.

· Routinely walking the plant to inspect electrical and mechanical.

· Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical panels

· Communicate with Plant Management on a daily basis to discuss items in need of repair.

· Maintain electrical/mechanical systems associated with crushers, Conveyor belts, pulleys, pumps, screens and screen bearings.

· Prior to undertaking any diagnosis or repair, conduct a job safety assessment.

· Analysis to identify and isolate any hazards such as energy (lock-out, tag-out), working at heights, confined spaces, etc.

· Always ensure all safety guards are on equipment when it is energized.

· Report all incidents, accidents, near misses and first aid events to supervisor.

· Attend and actively participate in regular safety toolbox talks, production meetings and trainings

· Adhere to all Company Safety, Environmental and Compliance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

· Required Work Experience: A minimum of three years of experience performing the functions listed above in a construction, building materials, manufacturing or industrial environment.

· West Virginia Journeymen electrician certification (preferred)

· Experience with troubleshooting/installation 120V – 480V electrical systems

· PLC and relay logic troubleshooting experience a plus.

· Proficient in hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems.

· Welding skills are desirable.

· Strong safety-orientation

· Ability to work overtime.

· Ability to lift 50lbs

Screed Position

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

· Crew member essential to application of asphalt on highways/private roadways/parking lots/driveways operating screed controls

· Operator on the asphalt paver making normal adjustments for obtaining proper depth, grade and finished cross section of asphalt material via screed extensions

· Must partner with other crewmembers to apply asphalt per plan specifications and perform tasks of other positions as instructed by crew foreman to insure daily schedules/estimates are met

· Properly follow all Company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment

· Report any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, or Safety Manager

· Must be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes

· To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each Key Duty satisfactorily

· Constant physical effort, including standing, is required during a regular work shift of at least eight hours per day

· Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions

· Work environment periodically exposes the employees to high levels of noise, grease, and dust that is typically associated with a construction project

· Employee regularly works near other heavy equipment and moving machinery

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· Education: High school diploma or equivalent

· Required Work Experience: A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years or more of industry related experience is required for this position, with an emphasis on roads, highways, and bridges

· Must understand the different signals used to signal operators of construction machinery

· Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and to stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform Key Duties

· Ability to lift and carry, on a frequent basis, at least 50-90 pounds personally, and up to 150 pounds with assistance

· The Operator must be able to climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely

MillingOperator

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

· Possess basic knowledge of asphalt including milling, paving, stripping and heavy equipment operation.

· Secures work pieces on machines, using holding devices, measuring instruments, hand tools and hoists

· Rebuild Rotec sifters, fabricate and replace screens, replace shoes and anvils in impact mills.

· Assemble parts, operate CNC lathe and mills and adjust offsets.

· Document all readings and temperatures of water that comes in and out of chillers.

· Remove work pieces from machines, and check to ensure that they conform to specifications.

· Adjusts controls to set cutting specifications.

· Clean inside of crucibles, patch cracks and perform other repair tasks of crucible prior to next run computes dimensions, tolerances, and angles of work pieces or machines according to specifications.

· Ensures alignment of work pieces on machines, using measuring instruments such as rules, gauges, or calipers.

· Perform maintenance on Milling Machine to include changing of teeth, greasing machine and other activities associated with maintenance as required.

· Feed fuel, such as coal into fireboxes or onto conveyors and remove ashes from furnaces, using shovels and buckets.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

· Required Work Experience: Minimum 3-5 years’ experience.

· Ability to read blueprints

· Basic mathematical skills

· Excellent oral communication skills with close attention to detail.

· Must understand the technological process and equipment, be able to analyze a situation and independently make decisions to eliminate equipment faults, as well as make adjustments to the milling process to improve the quality of the product.

· Ability to unload raw materials, prepare a test run to ensure a machine is working properly and inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.

· An incumbent who is skilled in measuring calipers and hand tools including QC inspection.

· Ability to lift 50lbs

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

· Unloads tools, setup equipment and prepare work area,

· Follow project instructions from construction foreman and/or supervisor

· Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed

· Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks (includes but not limited to shovels, rakes, loots, etc.)

· Safely operate a variety of tools including, but not limited to, jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, torches, etc.

· Ability to assist with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials

· Safely and effectively operate machinery in order to complete assigned jobs- skid steer, asphalt paver, roller

· Thorough understand all aspects of the paving industry including preparatory work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, job specifications, oil consistencies, compaction and other details related to asphalt paving,

· Performs equipment maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing and maintaining fluid levels on equipment; will also assist with equipment cleanup as needed,

· Work outdoors in changing weather conditions, around hot asphalt and asphalt paving equipment.

· Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner, with high standards for quality and safety

· Position is not solely based on operating Roller- will help crew shovel, lute, and any other assigned duties assigned by Foreman

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· Required Work Experience: 2 years’ experience

· Manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, good physical fitness, a good sense of balance, and an ability to work as a member of a team.

Skid Steer

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Mobile Mechanic

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

· Perform general overhaul, tune up and repair work on automobiles and related power driven equipment.

· Inspect, adjust and replace necessary units and parts including cooling, fuel and exhaust components.

· Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.

· Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.

· May fabricate and modify parts and equipment.

· Repair engine failures, mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, body repair and replacing parts and components.

· Service machinery and mechanical equipment by completing repairs on engines, hydraulics systems, mobile and stationary equipment.

· Provide routine inspections of vehicles

· Keep an accurate log of all work performed.

· Maintain and clean all garage equipment and tools to ensure equipment is kept in useable condition at all times.

· Adhere to company work safety policies

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· Education: High school diploma or equivalent

· Must have own mechanical tools (Any specialty tools that are needed will be provided)

· Required Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience performing the functions listed above in a construction, building materials, manufacturing or industrial environment.

· Mechanical skills, physical strength, practical skills, problem solving orientation, and customer service abilities.

· Proficient in hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems

· Ability to prepare work estimates and quotes

· Experience conducting routine services and vehicle maintenance

· Excellent oral communication skills with close attention to detail

· Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic computer skills
