Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter / Framer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing and carpentry work, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, drawings, and specifications.
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and hardware.
Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and building codes.
Collaborate with other construction professionals and tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Carpenter / Framer.
Proficient in using hand and power tools.
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
Good physical condition and stamina.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
