Blackbird Salon is a high-end trendy salon located in Navy Yard, Washington DC. We're looking for an assistant to join our talented team! This position requires someone with excellent customer services skills, attentive to detail, reliable, and a team player. Responsibilities include: shampooing and conditioning clients, rinsing color and applying toners, maintaining cleanliness in the salon such as sweeping, laundry, disinfecting and assisting stylist when needed. Benefits include: $17/hr + tips, employee discount, as well as paid time off for full time employees. Preferably looking for a schedule of Tuesday-Saturday.
