One of DC’s busiest nightlife venues, is hiring professional security staff for weekend shifts. We are seeking physically strong, commanding, and professional individuals to join our security staff. You’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, so a confident, solid presence is essential. This role involves crowd control, guest screening, and ensuring safety in a lively nightlife atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests and check IDs at the entrance
Control entry and monitor guest flow
Maintain a visible security presence inside the venue
De-escalate conflicts and handle disturbances professionally
Ensure safety in and around the premises, including the sidewalk and entry lines
Assist in crowd control during peak hours
Requirements:
Must be 21+ years old
Large build or athletic/strong presence preferred
Professional appearance and attitude required
Reliable and punctual
Prior nightclub, bar, event, or athletic security experience preferred but not required
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a loud environment
Must be able to work Friday and Saturday nights (typically 9 PM – close)
Compensation & Perks:
$21–$24/hr based on experience
Paid weekly
