Our client, a public health consulting firm in Arlington, VA, is seeking a temporary Events and Conference Coordinator to support conference coordination for six international conferences that will be taking place in different parts of the world!About You:Bachelor's degree required (degree in communications, marketing, business studies, public relations, or event management preferred).3+ years of professional experience in all aspects of conference business (e.g., logistics, communications, presentations, public relations, exhibition management, etc.).Proficient in Microsoft office and working in shared drives.Proven experience in project management and/or global event management.Organized and detail-oriented with excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.The Job:Work with the technical and communications team to develop communication strategies for each conference.Liaise with vendors to ensure distribution of materials to conference venues.Collaborate with the marketing team to support the creation/production of communications/marketing materials.Support the coordination of social media before/during/after each conference.Other support as needed.This is a temporary assignment that pays $21/hr-$26/hr and is slated to last from September 15, 2022 - December 15, 2022 (3 months).
