Part-time (4pm to 7pm, Monday through Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently for freight shipments.
- Verify and reconcile billing information with shipping documents and contracts.
- Communicate with carriers and customers to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain organized records of billing documents and transactions.
- Assist with billing inquiries and provide support to the billing department as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate billing processes.
- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices related to freight billing.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in freight billing or related administrative roles preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with billing software or systems is a plus.
