Role Description:
Lamont Street Partners is seeking a full-time Accounting & Operations Manager to join our small, entrepreneurial team as a valuable member supporting both financial and administrative functions across the firm. This is a critical role that ensures smooth day-to-day operations, accurate accounting, and efficient support for the firm’s partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide accurate, efficient, and compliant monthly financial reporting packages including balance sheets, cash flow reports and income statements within Excel, Quickbooks, and other accounting platforms.
Manage budgets, distributions & contributions, and general financial reporting procedures for investors.
Take responsibility for the annual tax cycle both for partner and investor accounting including 1099s, 1998s, and numerous K-1s.
Work with both internal and external stakeholders to create detailed financial reports.
Lead organizational and administrative efforts, including, but not limited to, implementing filing protocols, generating reminders, and managing the corporate calendar.
Coordinate with multiple vendors, partners and staff outside the firm to drive completion of tasks by stated due dates. External parties will generate significant workflow and the Accounting & Operations Manager will be expected to coordinate, manage, and ensure timely completion.
Initiate and track all distributions to partners and clients quarterly.
Handle special administrative or finance projects at discretion of partners.
Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant degree and minimum 4 years of applicable accounting experience preferably in the real estate or private equity industries. Highly qualified candidates will have experience preparing working papers for outside accounting, tax counsel and joint venture business partners. Proficiency in a Mac environment, Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks, and Adobe is required. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, disciplined, and excel at time management to drive projects to closure and keep the team organized. We are looking for an experienced professional with high emotional intelligence who can plug into an existing entrepreneurial framework.
Pay: Salary commensurate with experience.

Physical setting: Hybrid. Montgomery County Maryland. In-office 3 days per week, remainder would be remote setting.
