ESI is currently seeking a Business Development Analyst to support our business development and capture management operation. In this role, you are directly responsible for contributing to the development and management of a robust qualified pipeline. This is a high growth opportunity position with the ability to grow into other roles within the business development team or across the organization.
Participate in industry and government conferences.Proactively research government forecasts and procurements databases and synthesize data into actionable recommendations and reports.Assist developing strategic and tactical plans, marketing materials, pipeline, and proposals.Review RFP/RFQ/RFIs and evaluate competitive position based on criteriaConduct competitive analysis vendor analysis.Converse with management to formulate long term BD goals utilizing knowledge of subject area, and research techniques.Manage and maintain SharePoint repositories for the business development team.Organize and analyze data from all sources, using industry standards methods and tools to ensure validity of results.Evaluates information to determine feasibility of proposals or to identify factors requiring amendment.Skills and Education RequirementsBachelors degree in Business Administration or related discipline.Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience analyzing government solicitations.Familiarity with online tools used by the Federal Government for solicitationsDemonstrated skills in opportunity qualification, customer visits, customer relationship development, relationship development with competitors, and team collaboration.Understanding of application development, operations, and maintenanceBachelor’s in business, communications, data science, information technology, or related fieldDemonstrated ability to understand, articulate, and present corporate capabilities to internal and external audiences.Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Project) and other common productivity software.Strong organization skills with an ability to adapt, navigate complexity, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently or within a team in a fast-paced environment.Must be a self-starter and detail oriented.Experience supporting proposals, technical writing, or solutioning is a plus, but not required.
