I'm looking for an attorney to represent me in a discrimination case. The company I have an issue with, I was contracted with, and in an email, after receiving a head shot of my face, openly stated that the primary reason for them breaking my contract was because of my identity.
There are numerous corroborating testimonies of discrimination with this company, including by elected officials. The owner of the company is a political donor, and I am currently in contact with the Baltimore Sun, and they want to do the story, and possibly tie it in to a current SCOTUS case.
I've already done extensive research into the case and am ready to present supporting documents and other evidence to support every claim.
I'm looking for an attorney to file suit for punitive damages. I'm not sure how many other former/current employees are interested in joining the suit, but I am in contact with many employees who want to make statements. One thing to consider is whether or not the suit would be better filed in Maryland where the incident occurred, or DC, where the company is based. Depends on which juristiciton's laws are more favorable for private contractors for discrimination cases like this.
