SUMMARY OF JOB:
This position is an on-going training position and is primarily responsible for assisting Lead Technicians in diagnosing roof leaks on steep and low-slope roofs, and performing roof, siding and gutter repairs utilizing ladders and lifts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performing interior inspections for reported roof leaks with Lead Technician
Performing rooftop inspections and diagnosing roof leaks with Lead Technician
Setting project sites up, including equipment, scaffolding and ladders
Working in a safe manner that complies with OSHA safety standards
Protecting the building and building content for any projects being worked on
Maintaining project sites in a neat and orderly fashion
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to use all hand tools associated with roofing installation, including simple hand tools and specific roofing-related tools
Ability to communicate effectively in English with supervisors
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver heavy objects including materials and equipment
Ability to work at all heights, as well as access heights from a ladder
MUST HAVE TRANSPERTATION
