Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Project Manager with a basic understanding of masonry and blueprint reading. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in overseeing construction projects from start to completion. This position is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and build upon their existing knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Project Coordination: Oversee daily operations of construction projects, ensuring they stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with site workers, contractors, and other team members to maintain project flow and communication.
Blueprint Interpretation: Use your foundational knowledge of blueprints and masonry to ensure proper execution of plans.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction.
Client Communication: Maintain professional communication with clients, updating them on project progress and ensuring their needs are met.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed on-site.
Continuous Learning: Take part in training and development opportunities to improve your skills and project management expertise.
Requirements:
1) Fluent in both English and Spanish.
2) Basic knowledge of masonry and blueprint reading.
3) Previous experience in construction or project management is a plus but not required.
4) Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
5) Ability to work well in a team and independently.
6) Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
7)A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to contribute to team success.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous exposure to construction project management or similar roles.
Familiarity with construction tools and materials.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
