Job description:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter / Crew Leader to join our team. This role is hands-on, working alongside laborers while also providing leadership, training, and job site coordination. You’ll help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and with high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
Perform skilled carpentry and remodeling work (framing, trim, flooring, etc.).
Lead and mentor a small crew, helping train general laborers.
Ensure job sites are organized, materials are ready, and work progresses on schedule.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Follow safety guidelines and enforce safe worksite practices.
Qualifications:
Experience in Carpentry.
Experience leading a team or mentoring others in a work setting.
Ability to read blueprints, measure accurately, and work independently.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
