Added Dimensions is an award-winning general contractor/remodeler that specializes in building projects that require close attention to detail. Many of these projects involve contemporary architecture, some do not. In general, though, our projects are exceptional in execution. We are looking to hire a carpenter’s helper to work with our team of highly experienced carpenters. The minimum requirements for the position are:
Reliable transportation that will enable you to get to our projects in Washington DC, Montgomery County and occasionally Northern Virginia. A truck is not required.
Preferably some experience working in construction and a basic understanding of the ways houses are built.
The ability to read a tape measure accurately.
A strong desire to work in construction, gain new skills, and advance in both compensation and responsibility.
The ability to take constructive criticism, follow directions, work as a member of a team and have a sense of humor.
