Caregiver needed for 27yo in wheelchair.
The job is pretty simple. Need somebody with an upbeat personality to help dress him, use a lift to put him into his power wheelchair, make coffee, basic grooming, help him with meds, and basic cleaning. Will train you on how to use the lift and do the muscle stretches.
You need to have a valid driver's license to take him places on occasion. He does have a wheelchair accessible van for transport.
Looking for somebody who wants a Weekend Day job. Hours are from 9:30am - 2:30pm, Saturday - Sunday. This cannot be changed. Pay is about $130/Day. This cannot be changed.
What is needed most of all is somebody RELIABLE. If the aide doesn't show up, he will be stuck in bed. This is a long term position.
You must also be a non-smoker with authorization to work in the U.S. and dog friendly since there is a very friendly service dog at the house.
The household is fully vaccinated and you MUST be too.
There is A LOT of downtime with this job. If you are a student, an actor, writer or anybody else that could use a job that allows you to do your personal work while getting paid, this could be perfect. Really a lot of downtime since he is very independent.
