This is a part time, live-in position (no exceptions) for the care of a 69 year old man with late stage cancer in a single family house.
JOB DUTIES: Provide personal hygiene care (assist with going to the bathroom, showering, dressing), and help with feeding, walking, and general care of two small dogs in house. Must be compassionate, gentle, patient, and kind.
Must pass a credit and criminal background check. Must speak English fluently. Must be passionate about providing care for the elderly. Must be dog friendly as two Pekingese dogs live in the house.
Private room, board, Wi-Fi and TV are included in the monthly salary. Monthly salary up to $1,200 depending on qualifications, certifications, and experience.
Job Requirements:
- Must have valid government issued identification (passport or driver's license)
- Must show proof of physical exam showing "free of communicable disease" and be within six months of application date
- PPD Test Results showing negative TB (if +PPD results, need chest X-ray results)
- Have command of the English language
- Must be compassionate, honest, reliable, confident and highly sociable
- Must show confidence in ability to engage client
- Cheerfully willing to cook and clean
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- 2 Professional References
