Looking for a Home Health Care Aide to assist our vibrant 96-year-old mother (with no memory issues) in her home (lives with her daughter and son-in-law). Applicant should be a punctual, reliable and compassionate female provider to be a companion and assist our mom with her Activities of Daily Living (ADL). Part-time to full-time hours Monday – Friday from approximately 9am – 3pm.

Job Description/Qualifications:
Work with her one-on-one in the home setting
Assist with personal care (ADLs)
Prepare nutritional meals
Ensure a clean, safe living environment
Monitor and document her vital signs
Laundry and light household tasks
Document provided services
Be a joyful presence and help our mother enjoy her best possible quality of life
Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
Proficiency in English (she is very hard of hearing)
Good listening skills
Responsible and a good communicator
First Aid training
Reliable transportation to work in Sterling, VA (there is no pubic transportation near her home)
Minimum education required: High school diploma
MUST provide copies of:
Driver's License,
Background Check,
PCA, CCA, Nurse Aide certificate or CNA license, and
3 References
Compensation based on experience
Very friendly black Labrador dog in the home
