We are looking for a clinical technician to run our sensory integration table.
We treat brain-injured or neurologically challenged patients who are prone to sensory overstimulation by environmental stressors such as light, noise, or movement. We provide a specialized treatment to gently consolidate the vestibular, visual, and auditory senses. If you are compassionate and conscientious, we need your help to help others.
As the clinical technician, you will have to:
Set up and run the equipment,
Provide a professional, calm, and affable demeanor,
Monitor the patient via camera and assist them as needed,
Administer basic vision exercises,
Document the interaction,
Co-manage the scheduling of treatment, and
Do basic troubleshooting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum: HS degree
Preference:
While not necessary, the ideal candidate would have:
a certified medical assistant or have other paramedical certifications,
a current CPR certification,
familiarity with HIPAA privacy regulations, and
experience or interest in the fields of vision therapy or neuro-rehabilitation.

Hours
While the typical hours are Monday – Friday, 7:45am to 4:45pm, there is some flexibility if you are willing to work some weekend hours.
