Sous Chef
Exciting opportunity in a chef-driven, casual fine-dining restaurant in a newly constructed space in the heart of Del Ray.
We are open for lunch and dinner Tuesday-Sunday and brunch Saturday & Sunday. We are currently looking for a Sous Chef to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualities and experience :
Positive and friendly attitude
Eagerness to learn
Time-management skills
Basic computer/POS knowledge
Understanding of scratch cooking in various cuisines and cooking methods
ServSafe license is a plus!
Responsibilities:
Receive and check deliveries
Direct and supervise daily production
Maintain a clean, safe and organized environment
Lead by example, train, coach and mentor staff
Monitor and maintain equipment
Keep par levels on inventory and order product accordingly
Submit resume and availability.
Pay will be negotiated based on experience and is in the range of 20-22 per hour
