Republic Cantina is looking for a part time barista that exudes friendly hospitality and appreciates a finely-made coffee bev.
Our main need is Thur-Sun morning shifts (8a-3p on weekdays; 8a-3:30p weekends), with some flexibility on days. There is also some potential to pick up other shifts if desired, as well as cross training on bar or server
Pay is hourly + tips, with a guaranteed takehome per shift of $27/hr

Located in a 100yr-old former horse stable in Truxton Circle, Republic Cantina is a Texas-styled cafe during the day & restaurant/bar by night. We offer a quality-driven coffee/espresso program and serve as a neighborhood coffee shop during the week, with some brunch energy added in on the weekends. Our coffee program is backed by a delicious breakfast menu, centered around TX-style breakfast tacos + also including chilaquiles, a bangin avocado Toast, and more.
At night we transform into a restaurant and feature Tex Mex classics "done right," with some space reserved at the margins to get a little creative. Our bar program is agave-centric and focused on margaritas done extremely well (in addition to a focused cocktail/beer/wine list). We also offer a thoughtful list of high quality, interesting & esoteric agave spirits (e.g sotol, bacanora, etc).
