We are looking for a detail oriented, customer service expert who is looking for a work family. The Assistant General manager for our South Arlington location will directly work with hiring, scheduling, running great shifts, ordering, and helping to come up with new ideas to bring in guests and up our customer base.
The right candidate:
Must be great with cash handling, emailing, google sheets, and point of sale (we use TOAST, but can train you on the specific system.)
Will be great with the staff. This means training, holding high expectations, but knowing how to encourage and work with the team to get the best results.
Notices when things need addresses. Whether it is the table that needs help, the bathroom that needs cleaned, the walk in guest who needs greeted, or whatever the case may be, you have to be observant and on top of what needs your attention and in what order, as well as being able to direct the team to get some of these things done as opposed to just doing everything. In other words, multitasking and delegation.
Will be a team player. We want everyone on the team to "own" the business and be proud of the restaurant. From food, to customer service, and cleanliness, the managers must both take responsibility for getting it done, but also encourage that culture in others.
What can you expect from us? We have a strong pay structure for the right person. We pay per hour because if you work over 40 hours, you deserve to be paid overtime. This philosophy gives you a life outside of work. You have the flexibility to work as little as a 30 hour work week if that suits your needs or more if that is better for you. You don't start work before 1030am and we aren't open past 10pm any night. Schedules are set so that you always know what you are working and with 4 other restaurants, you can find even more opportunities if you are looking for them. We treat our entire team like family and care about your needs. The owners of this group are all restaurant workers who run things the way they would like to have been treated throughout their careers.
