Work Schedule: Hours depend on performance schedule

Position Location: 100% Onsite

Pay Rate: $12.41/hour plus tips

POSITION SUMMARY: The Restaurant Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for guests, and ensuring smooth bar operations. The ability to craft excellent cocktails, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain cleanliness and organization will be key to the success of the bar and the overall guest experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and take drink orders efficiently.

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.

- Mix and garnish drinks with precision and care, ensuring high-quality presentations.

- Maintain an extensive knowledge of the drink menu, including beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails.

- Engage with guests to create a positive and personalized experience, including offering drink recommendations and promoting new items.

- Process payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and tabs.

- Monitor and manage the bar’s inventory, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies, garnishes, and beverages.

- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to all alcohol-related laws and regulations.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including cleaning glassware, utensils, and bar tools, and taking out trash when needed.

- Ensure proper storage of alcohol, garnishes, and supplies to maintain freshness and quality.

- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and calmly, escalating issues to management as necessary.

- Collaborate with servers and other team members to ensure prompt and accurate service for all guests.

- Prepare garnishes, syrups, and mixers as needed.

- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

- Assist with opening and closing bar duties, including setting up the bar, restocking, and taking inventory.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse guests.

- Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

- Exceptional multitasking skills, including managing multiple drink orders and maintaining organization behind the bar.

- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in orders and financial transactions.

- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be at least 21 years old

- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Ability to stand for long periods

- Ability to lift heavy kegs or boxes, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
