Ice Cream Jubilee is a local, Washington, DC business known for delicious, inventive ice cream flavors. We are hiring happy, high-energy, dependable individuals to serve ice cream, interact with customers, and keep up with the high-demand at our fast-paced store.

We have reopened our three stores in Ballston Quarter (Arlington VA), Navy Yard (SE DC), and 14th / T Street (NW DC) with contactless ordering and sanitary procedures that will keep staff and customers safe.
We are only hiring for our store at Ballston Quarter Market in Arlington.
Since this is a management position:
Customer service or food service experience required (6+ months)
Leadership experience strongly preferred
Strong communication skills required
Shift Leads will:
+ Be able to maintain a sanitary work environment, following all health and food safety requirements;
+ Be enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, noisy environment, and standing for 4 to 8 hours at a time;
+ Use great communication skills with a smile that brightens the room;
+ Scoop ice cream, and introduce customers to the Ice Cream Jubilee brand;
+ Deliver consistent, world-class service to every single customer with an eye for detail and a dedication to cleanliness;
+ Clean store before opening and after closing under self-supervision and with maximum efficiency;
+ Make decisions under pressure and communicate them to the Store Manager;
+ Accurately fill out opening/closing paperwork for every shift, including analysis of sales reports;
+ Assist with other tasks as needed.
+ Must be able to smile under all circumstances!

Applicants must be able to commit to at least 15 hours a week for the first 2 months (2-3 shifts), including 2 days of weekend availability (Fri/Sat/Sun) and 2 evening shifts (to 10pm). We are VERY flexible with shifts and can easily work around a class schedule for qualified applicants. Full-time availability is preferred, but part time will be considered with qualified applicants.
