Little Coco's is a neighborhood Italian restaurant in Columbia Heights / Petworth area. We are looking for a server with a friendly team mentality. Prior serving experience is required. Knowledge of Italian food, wines, and spirits is a plus but we are always willing to train the right candidate. Currently we have dinner shifts & weekend brunch shifts available. Responsibilities include:
Working with a team mentality with the other staff and managers to create a positive work environment as well as a positive dining experience for guests.
Taking guests orders and entering them into Toast POS system in a timely manner to ensure a smooth service.
Maintain knowledge of current food, cocktails, wine and beer to answer questions and provide recommendations if requested.
Helping guests with food substitutions and relaying allergy information to the kitchen.
Delivering drinks and food to tables and communicating with guests throughout their meal to ensure they are satisfied.
Clearing empty glassware and plates from table during the guest’s meal.
Completing side-work tasks such as folding linens, polishing silverware, resetting tables.
