Housekeeping Team Leader- FULL TIME

Ashby ponds Living. is looking for a Housekeeping Team Lead to support our gated retirement community. All of our clients live within our community so there is no travel involved!

How you will make an impact:

Providing leadership, direction, and support to the Housekeepers under the guidance of the Housekeeping Supervisor and Housekeeping Manager.

Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of assigned areas.

Completing assigned work orders, and following a detailed schedule.

May be asked to assist with set-ups, requiring movement of furniture.

Scheduling and supervising daily work assignments.

Training, mentoring, and coaching new employees.

What you will need:

One to three years’ experience in Housekeeping.

Previous experience in a leadership role (preferred) must have excellent; customer service, communication and problem solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.

Ability to use and operate all required equipment.

Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors and each other.

Strong knowledge of Housekeeping operations.

Ability to lead and motivate a team.
