A West African Restaurant located in the vibrant U street corridor is looking for an experienced cook, sous-chef, and/or chef de cuisine.
We’re looking for someone who’s familiar with West African, Caribbean, or European cuisine, who’s a passionate cook, and who has already experience working in a fast-paced environment.
The right candidate would be able to leverage their talent at a new restaurant and work with the owner to enhance the company’s brand and culture.
We are looking for someone:
Who wants to be part of a small family business
Who can create new dishes and enhance the existing ones
Who will focus on creating new culinary experiences for our guests
Who is passionate about cooking
Who is able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively
A French speaker is not necessary but highly desirable
