Sales Associate - I71 Gifting Shop

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Sales Associate to join our team and play an essential role in the day-to-day operations of our store. As the primary point of contact for our customers, you’ll be instrumental in providing outstanding service, ensuring a smooth shopping experience, and helping to maintain the welcoming atmosphere of the shop. This is a dynamic role where you’ll be expected to be proactive, organized, and flexible in managing various responsibilities, all while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Opening Procedures:

-Arrive punctually at 10:45 AM to prepare the store for customers.

-Set up iPads, ensure communication devices are operational, and create an inviting atmosphere with appropriate lighting and music.

Daily Customer Interaction:

-Provide a warm and informative welcome to every customer, ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm.

-Check IDs to verify age and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

-Introduce customers to our gifting shop model, walking them through the menu and purchase process.

-Use product knowledge to offer personalized recommendations and answer customer inquiries.

-Operational Support:

-Stay attentive to customer needs while managing operational tasks such as answering phone calls, following up on orders, and restocking inventory.

-Assist with store cleanliness and organization, ensuring a tidy and pleasant shopping environment.

-Perform various tasks such as breaking down flowers, stapling bags, and maintaining store functionality.

Closing Procedures:

-Complete thorough cleaning of customer areas and operational spaces, including disinfecting surfaces and mopping/vacuuming floors.

-Secure the store, ensuring all equipment is stored safely and the shop is left in an orderly state.

Expectations:

-Proactive Work Ethic: Prioritize tasks effectively and manage time wisely to ensure operational efficiency and a positive customer experience.

-Team-Oriented: Collaborate effectively with fellow associates and management to meet store goals and ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

-Flexibility: Be adaptable and willing to engage in various tasks as needed, as the retail environment can change quickly.

Qualifications:

-Prior experience in retail or customer service is required.

-Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers.
