Job Description:
As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of rental items to our customers across the DMV area. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be punctual for deliveries, and have the flexibility to navigate various locations.
As a business assistant, you will help with the marketing side of the business (leaving a business card or flyer wherever you go) and on slow days you can be paid for handling the business's social media.
Responsibilities:
- Drive to different locations within the DMV area for item deliveries.
- Proximity to Temple Hills, MD is a plus as that is where the storage facility is and where your deliveries will start from.
- Provide outstanding customer service to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Ensure on-time and accurate deliveries.
- Handle items with care to prevent any damages during transportation.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
Qualifications:
- Must have a reliable vehicle (preferably an SUV, minivan, or truck).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to navigate efficiently throughout the DMV area.
- Punctual and reliable.
Pay:
$20 per hour
Sample Delivery Journey:
Temple Hills, MD -> Potomac, MD -> North Beach, MD -> Annandale, VA -> Arlington, VA -> Fairfax, VA -> Temple Hills, MD. (Example from an actual day in December).
Some days, all deliveries are in DC. Some days deliveries are all over the DMV.
Work Schedule:
Flexible hours, with varying daily delivery loads.
Additional Compensation:
On slow days, an hour of pay for social media work (posting on the business page pictures from deliveries).
Tips from customers (100% of tips are yours to keep).
Requirements:
Successful completion of a background check.
Valid driver's license.
