IMG - is hiring a full-time ServiceNow Software Developer to support development needs for Naval Reactors (NR) personnel located at Washington, D.C. Responsibilities- Review requirements and existing functionality of legacy applications (programmed in Visual Basic for Applications, VB.NET, ColdFusion, DBXL, etc.) as assigned by manager; develop migration plan to recapitalize using the ServiceNow application platform; upon approval, execute transition and support user acceptance testing.
- Improve existing end user documentation or write new documentation as needed for migrated applications.
- Evaluate current Microsoft Word macros used by Buyer staff. Develop functional requirements based on existing functionality. Recommend transition plan to integrate with ServiceNow platform using Microsoft C# VSTO/ServiceNow REST API.
- Four-year degree in relevant concentration
- Experience in adhering to buyer software development processes and methodologies
- Experience in technical and software documentation
- Experience with relational database design
- Experience in requirements-driven programming/design for test
- Experience in JavaScript programming (jQuery, AJAX)
- Web user interface design, including HTML5
- Basic level of knowledge in program management
