Cisco Network Engineer (TS/SCI FS POLY)

Position Summary:We are looking for a Cisco Network Engineer, with a current (TS/SCI FS Poly security clearance, to work at Washington DC and surrounding areas. We are seeking someone who wants to join a group of talented engineers and work collaboratively with our customers and other engineers. We're looking for someone who possesses professional consulting attributes driven towards 100% customer success. We love an out-going attitude, commitment to details and you must be quality oriented, with the ability to work on a high-performance team to deliver solutions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for requirements gathering, staging, deployment and support for an upgrade project of a customer distribution switching environment. Customer will be replacing current distribution switches with various Cisco Catalyst switches (such as Cisco Catalyst 9500) Provide onsite site surveys for new equipment refresh project Perform installation of new Cisco switches at various locations in the DC Metro area including some CONUS travel and a small potential for OCOUNS travel (Canada) Perform cable patching and wire grooming at each of the locations where a new switch is installed Provide day to day operational support for new installed switches when required

Basic Qualifications:

A current TS/SCI FS Poly security clearance is required (AT TIME OF HIRE) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; preferred or 8 year's equivalent work experience Minimum 3 years direct applicable experience working with Cisco Route & Switch platforms

Preferred Qualifications: Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) are a plus Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal form Motivated by challenges and has a strong sense of commitment to objectives Detail-oriented and organized with an inquisitive nature that is open to learning from all sources Ability to work well in a team as well as individuallyInterested candidates please send resume in Word format to Please reference job code 72761 when responding to this ad.
