Multifactor Authentication Architect

GDIT is seeking an Multifactor Authentication (MFA) Architect to design the next generation authenticator infrastructure. They will join a team managing current identity systems and work hand in hand to modernize and help meet emerging needs to protect identity on the network.

Responsibilities:

Perform complex systems design work supporting authentication initiatives

Prototype and demonstrate MFA solutions and other identity solutions for the

Develop and update procedure and policy documents to support identity initiatives

Produce architecture documentation for new systems

Serve as a liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met

Provide leadership in designing identity and MFA solutions

Maintain current knowledge of federal identity standards and relevant technology

Collaborate with many teams to development and propose identity solutions

Strong project planning experience

What you'll need:

Ability to secure a Public Trust clearance

U. S. Citizen and/or Green Card holder

Experience leading feature design and integration of commercial software for production environments

Bachelors (or experience in lieu of degree) and 10+ years of experience" - If no degree, 14 years of experience to qualify 10+ years IT or development experience

2+ years architecting and implementing identity and authentication systems

B.S degree

Strong experience with Cloud SaaS identity and MFA solutions

Demonstrated experience with next generation authenticator technology including biometric, fingerprint and retina scanning

Demonstrated experience integrating MFA into modern and legacy systems

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and integrate systems in complex environments

Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills

Experience implementing systems compliant with Federal identity standards including FICAM and NIST800-63 Identity Guidelines

Experience managing Single-Sign-On IDPs and familiarity with identity federation

Preferred

Experience implementing passwordless authentication e.g. fido2 security keys, Microsoft Authenticator

Familiarity with CISA's zero trust model
