Strategic Communications LeadThe Mission: D&G is seeking an experienced Strategic Communications Lead to assist the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations (OFO) with integrated strategic planning support. The Strategic Communications Lead manages the communications strategy, ensuring that internal and external messaging aligns with CBP OFO strategic objectives. This is an outstanding opportunity to support CBP OFO’s mission to secure the border while facilitating lawful trade and travel that supports our national economy. Duties & Responsibilities:

Develops and oversees the execution of a comprehensive communications plan.

Coordinates with stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective messaging.

Manages media relations, public affairs, and internal communications efforts to promote project initiatives.

Leads content development for various communication channels, including reports, presentations, and digital media.

Monitors and assesses the effectiveness of communication strategies and adjust tactics as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to obtain CBP Suitability

Bachelor's Degree

7 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

CBP suitability within the last 36 months.

Place of Performance: This is a hybrid position with onsite in the Washington, D.C.
