Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Bethesda-based professional services firm and become an integral part of a team responsible for migrating an expansive on-premises Oracle EBS system to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).The individual selected to fill this position must be a responsible, results-oriented individual with a passion for detail and achievement; an innovative thinker who understands multiple module configurations in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS); has a thorough understanding of major financial transaction and reporting business processes; and possesses experience migrating complex EBS on-premises systems to an OCI platform.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement migration strategies for moving on-premises Oracle EBS and associated Oracle databases to the OCI platform.Support the planning and execution of the migration of on-premises Oracle EBS and associated Oracle databases to the OCI platform.Assess existing on-premises infrastructure and applications to determine the best migration approach.Design and implement migration strategies to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.Evaluate and utilize various database migration services available in OCI.Perform on-premises data migration to the prepared OCI platform, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.Utilize Agile practices to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and integration with minimal disruption to business operations.Develop and maintain migration documentation, including architecture diagrams, migration plans, runbooks including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.Provide support throughout the migration process.Ensure compliance with organizational security and data governance policies.
