Job Description In this compelling leadership position, you will lead a team responsible for analyzing, modeling, and interpreting regulatory capital requirements and performing related financial analysis. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing strategy analysis, market-based benchmarking, trend, scenario and business plan analysis on capital requirements, capital allocation, optimization and effectiveness of business and/or enterprise strategies as needed. THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKEThe Capital Management and Analysis – Director role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

Assess the corporate and broader industry impact of proposed changes to regulatory capital rules and assist with the implementation of rule changes

Develop a deep understanding of the ongoing changes in the regulatory capital landscape and use this understanding to identify potential challenges and opportunities

Understand, analyze, forecast, and report on capital requirements and related financial outputs. Apply statistical, econometric, time series/cross-sectional methods to identify key value drivers and synthesize implications for internal stakeholders

Instruct on the overall approach to capital planning analysis, and assess broader financial and strategic implications. Assist with all aspects of annual capital planning exercises

Validate development and implementation of metrics and methodologies for capital adequacy, allocation, and optimization strategies

Analyze results of competitive analysis and benchmarking

Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAMMinimum Required Experiences

8 years

Significant experience in mortgage or housing market research and analysis

Significant experience in regulatory capital analysis, corporate finance, accounting, and forecasting

Strong analytical and problem solving-skills; driven to communicate quantitative information clearly and efficiently with a focus on business and financial implications

High sense of urgency, organizational skills and attention to detail with a pragmatic approach project design and implementation; driven to lead projects across multiple lines of businesses or functional groups

Strong communication and stakeholder building skills are required to build presentations and documentation to support the interpretation and implementation of capital framework changes

Desired Experiences

Bachelor degree or equivalent; MBA or CFA preferred

Advanced experience with Python, R, SQL or other similar language in an analytics role is required; knowledge of multiple languages preferred

Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel (including macros), Tableau, or Power BI

Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand

Experience evaluating potential business transactions and complex structures to advise lines of business on regulatory capital implications; researching and resolving ad-hoc capital rule interpretation questions
