Business Intelligence DeveloperThe Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is responsible for Business Objects Universes and MS Power BI design, development, deployment, and maintenance. Maintaining and developing canned or ad-hoc reports using Business Objects and/or MS Power BI. Firm understanding of relational databases environments. Experience with Business Objects full-client tools and MS Power BI tools. Proven technical and analytical skills. Utilize Business Objects tools and/or MS Power BI to maintain, design, develop, test, implement and document delivery solutions. Interface with business customers, business analysts, data analysts, other developers and IT support staff to complete assignments.
Requirements:- 5 years' experience, 3 of which must include direct Business Objects and MS Power BI reporting development.
- Working experience with BO Web Intelligence Rich Client required
- Universe design with Information Design Tool
- Experience developing universes using OLTP
- OLAP experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of database architecture and design with strong SQL skills
- Experience with DB2 a plus, experience with large databases running on a high-end Relational Database Server platform required
- Well developed verbal and written communications skills required, ability to create and maintain user and system documentation is essential
- Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents
- Ability to work according to published standards and design guidelines
- Must posses solid troubleshooting skills and have the ability to solves complex problems
- Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure
- A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work
- Ability to work well within a team
- Must be able to work full time remote (position 100% telework)
- or Permanent Resident. Will be required to possess or successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI), and an FBI Criminal History Check
