Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk based in Washington, DC. The role focuses on managing vendor invoices, collaborating with the finance team, and administering legal billing. The successful candidate will also have responsibilities in executive assistance, including scheduling and travel coordination.Responsibilities: Manage vendor invoices ensuring they are processed accurately and linked to the appropriate internal cost centers. Collaborate with the finance team on tasks such as accruals, budget planning, and forecasting. Administer legal billing using specific software such as Thompson Reuters Legal Tracker and MarkView. Generate legal spend reports to monitor expenditure. Establish and maintain professional relationships with law firms and vendors. Participate in periodic budget meetings with the Finance Team and the Legal Department's Budget Team. Schedule meetings and appointments, preferably with Microsoft Teams and Outlook experience. Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and manage related costs and documentation. Approve expenses using specific software such as Coupa. Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate customer credit records. Answer inbound calls and resolve customer inquiries.Requirements Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Demonstrated experience in Computerized Billing Strong understanding of Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) management Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls efficiently Familiarity with Billing Functions Proficiency in using Coupa software Knowledge of Legal Billing procedures Skilled in Calendar Management Experience with Electronic Calendar tools Proficiency in Microsoft Teams Proficient in using MS Office suite Strong communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving abilities High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a similar role preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
