Description:
Our US based studio team is seeking mulitple Staff Architectural Designers with 5-7 years of professional architectural experience.
It is likely that overseas diplomatic facilities is a new typology for any candidate which means we are looking for those who are creative, curious and eager to learn.
Individuals should also be design oriented, self-motivated, analytical thinkers who work well in a team setting.
They should be well organized and able to prioritize for effective time management.
They are resolute in their dedication and take pride in their work. A candidate should be well spoken, able to interact with clear, effective, and concise communication.
Architectural degree (Required). Professional degree (Preferred)
5-7 years of experience
LEED Accredited (a plus)
Professional organizations membership (a plus)
Proficient in Revit
Working knowledge of ACAD, Navisworks, InDesign, Photoshop, Bluebeam, Rhino, Grasshopper, Sketchup, Enscape or Dinamo are all a plus
Be a contributor in the collaborative design process
Assist in space planning efforts from the suite level to the entire building
Support the creation of construction documents from floor plans to details to schedules
Support construction administration efforts though RFI and submittal reviews
Address comments from the owner, contractor, consultant, or from colleagues
Assist in maintaining the design intent through collaboration with engineering consultants
Code research and analysis
Product research and manufacturer collaboration
Support in the creation of content for design reports and presentations
85% Producing Construction Docs in Revit
15% Coordinating w/ Subs and Internal Design Team, Internal Planning Mtg
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
5-7 years of architecture experience
Experience working in Revit
Producing Construction Documents: Size100K - 1Mil Sq Ft (Typically 1-500K)
