A prominent security software company is hiring a Lead Java Developer to work on the new features of their access management platform. This is a high-level position that requires mastery level experience with Java and Microservices, as well as prior experience building security applications. This is an excellent role to step into if you are looking to become more specialized in a growing field, as well as challenge your skill set at the Lead level. From a profile perspective, they are looking for someone who is a team player and has even lead projects and/or people in the past. The teams are highly collaborative, even when fully remote, so need someone who can contribute to, and accept, innovative ideas. As with several companies, they are focused on scale and leveraging their automation software with enterprise clients. Therefore, they are looking for someone who has experience with large-scale systems, as well as distributed systems and test-driven development. All in all, someone who is well-versed with best practices will be a good fit for the role. Required Skills & Experience
- Mastery-level experience of Java and Microservices
- Strong systems-orientation - Experience with distributed systems
- Enterprise level experience with customers or internal
- Cloud experience, preferably Amazon Web Services
- Test-Driven Development experience - Experience with Junit, Cucumber, etc.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Previous experience designing and developing security software
- BS or MS in Computer Science or another STEM field
- Experience with rapid deployment environments
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate
- Strong experience with NoSQL databases
- Big Data experience - Spark, Kafka, etc.
