Needs to cross train front office with back office: includes and not limited to:
- checking insurance coverage and correcting it in Electronic Health record
- assigning correct icd10 codes to lab work orders; appointment scheduling
- insurance authorizations for patient referrals and for some medications
- take vitals and administer injections; prepare lab specimens for sending
- answering phones; taking and sending messages
- refill prescriptions and answering messages
- Other duties to be learned will be discussed(Office in family practice)
