The Golf Shop Attendant is responsible for providing Members and guests with an exceptional Golf Shop and/or starting experience. This employee’s duties consist of, but are not limited to, meeting and greeting all Members and guests that visit the Golf Shop, potentially setting up their start of play, assisting with all shopping needs, merchandising the golf shop floor, maintain product knowledge, ensuring cleanliness, maintaining inventory stock and displays, recording special orders, answering the telephone, utilizing point of sale, and communicating Member feedback with the Professional Staff.
The Outside Services staff ensures that all the outside components of golf operations are facilitated. This specifically relates to the management and maintenance of golf carts, driving range, putting/chipping greens, golf-bag storage and other services provided to our members and guests. Good communication, interpersonal and listening/comprehension skills are required, as is the ability to work under pressure. Must have a valid driver's license. Must maintain a clean and groomed appearance at all times.
All employees are regularly required to lift/move up to 50 pounds unassisted. This individual is also required to stand and reach with hands and arms and regularly use hands and fingers. Practice and playing privileges can be earned through good performance.
