Hiring for a Quality Engineering Manager in Torrington, CT!Job DescriptionThe Quality Engineering Manager will directly support and improve our customers' quality management systems. The role includes conducting internal audits as needed to comply with ISO9001 standards, monitoring areas of responsibility to maintain and improve required quality requirements while controlling costs and not negatively impacting safety. This position supports internal and external customers related to quality issues and problem-solving, performs PPAP/FAI related tasks and reporting, and conducts PPAP, FMEA, FAIR, and Control Plans as needed.Responsibilities
Support and improve quality management systems.
Conduct internal audits to comply with ISO9001 standards.
Monitor and maintain required quality requirements while controlling costs.
Support internal and external customers with quality issues and problem-solving.
Perform PPAP/FAI related tasks and reporting.
Conduct PPAP, FMEA, FAIR, and Control Plans as needed.
Manage QMS, customer complaints, NCMR, PPAP/PFMEA/FAI processes, quality-related processes, and metrics.
Implement corrective and preventative actions.
