Manager, Field Scheduling - NBC Sports

Responsibilities:Oversee the hiring and scheduling of NBC Sports staff, daily hire and freelance technical personnel to work on remote productions. Inclusive of contacting the requested engineers to check their availability, negotiate their rate, and hire all positions before the event.Coordinate with Technical Managers, Operations leads, and Production Managers to obtain necessary information to create accurate crew sheets for remote productionsRelay all crew event info to the Production Managers in a timely fashion so they can assist in all travel logistics in a cost-efficient mannerSupport Operations/Production in resolving last minute scheduling/crewing issuesProvide support for the payroll process for each eventManage internal personnel (SCORE) system, inclusive of initiating & monitoring onboarding process for new hiresAssist in the development and maintenance of the internal personnel system (SCORE)Anticipate and communicate issues to management team to resolve quicklyProactively address issues which arise during course of productionPerform other related duties as needed
