Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Credit Analyst in the Wholesale Distribution industry. The selected candidate will be based in South Windsor, Connecticut, United States. As a Credit Analyst, you will be tasked with handling customer credit accounts and implementing effective credit management strategies.Responsibilities: Conduct risk assessment analyses on various types of lending proposals to ensure quality service to internal customers. Utilize specialist statistical software to develop models of credit information, predicting patterns, and trends. Examine financial information such as statements, management accounts, and cash flow statements for analysis. Establish credit limitations on customer accounts and handle special credit arrangements and deviations from standard terms of payment. Ensure collections are made in a timely manner while adhering to good customer service procedures. Assess the creditworthiness of client companies to make informed decisions. Recommend changes to policy and procedure based on credit analysis findings. Collaborate with other staff within the company, such as account managers and product specialists, for effective operation. Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently using Accounting Software Systems and CRM tools. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on their credit status.Requirements Proficiency in 3M operations and applications Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems Experience in ADP - Financial Services Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems Knowledge in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to conduct Cash Flow Analysis Experience in Collection Processes Understanding of credit principles and credit application processes Background in wholesale distribution of durable goods industry Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
